Express Pizzeria is a fast food restaurant in Denmark that had been using Gloria Food for online ordering but needed to move to WooCommerce for more control over their menu, ordering flow, and customer data. Gloria Food’s limitations — restricted customization, platform dependency, and lack of ownership over customer orders — had become a real bottleneck for the business.
The project involved a complete platform migration: rebuilding the full menu in WooCommerce with all items, categories, and pricing, configuring the online ordering flow for both delivery and pickup, setting up Danish-compatible payment methods including MobilePay, and resolving DNS configuration issues with their domain registered at Punkt.um — a Danish registrar with its own specific DNS management interface.
I kept Gloria Food running in parallel throughout the entire migration so the restaurant didn’t lose a single order during the transition. Once WooCommerce was fully tested and live, the DNS was switched and Gloria Food was retired.
